Report: Chelsea's reaction to Thomas Tuchel's plan to bring their coach to Bayern Munich
Chelsea are reportedly disappointed that Thomas Tuchel has publicly declared his desire to add Blues coach Anthony Barry to his coaching team at Bayern Munich.
“It is my absolute wish.” That was what Tuchel said in his press conference on Saturday when speaking about his plan to convince Barry to join him at Bayern.
It did not take long before the defending Bundesliga champions made their move. The Telegraph claims that Chelsea have now received an approach from Bayern for the highly-rated assistant coach.
The report mentions that Bayern have not offered any compensation, but Barry himself is said to be interested in a possible reunion with Tuchel in Germany.
However, while the Blues had expected a battle to keep Barry, they were reportedly disappointed that Tuchel made his interest in his former coach public.

It was Frank Lampard who brought Barry, who was previously an assistant to Paul Cook at Wigan, to Chelsea in 2020. The two first knew each other when studying for their UEFA Pro Licence.
He has since worked under Tuchel and Graham Potter.
Barry did not only develop a close relationship with Tuchel but also with his other assistants, so it is easy to see why the former Borussia Dortmund manager wants him.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea at the start of the season, Barry said: “I’m an adopted German now and in return, I teach the lads Scouse!”
“I’m very lucky to be a part of this group of staff.
“To talk about them and the work that they do is not the right place to start because to talk about them as people is the most important thing.
“From Thomas to Arno [Michels], Benni [Weber] and Jogi [Zsolt Low], these are top people.
“The way they’ve been with me and the way they’ve brought me into the staff, I couldn’t be more thankful.”
