'Tough one': £58m Chelsea player suggests he's not being used in his best position by Graham Potter
Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has suggested that he could be more effective if used in a different position by Graham Potter.
The 24-year-old has told the 5th Stand App that he feels like he could perform better in a role just off the striker.
The United States international has been predominantly used as a left winger since his £58m move to Stamford Bridge back in 2019.

He has had mixed success under numerous managers in West London, however he will surely put this down to a lack of regular opportunities to start consecutive games.
Competition has always been strong at a club like Chelsea, and this was made no easier by the January signings.
Pulisic wants to play different position
The club brought in both Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk to strengthen their wide areas.
However, Pulisic has claimed that he could feature as well as those, with him believing he can feature in a role sounding like a ‘Number 10’.

He said: “I think it’s a tough one for me. I think I’ve demonstrated qualities in a few attacking positions; I feel like my best position on the field is something like being in behind the striker, potentially off the left side, but having a bit of freedom to manoeuvre, understanding where I need to be to create and help my team score goals.
“I definitely feel stronger when I can come inside on my right foot. And dribbling or running in behind is another strength of mine. So yeah: that area underneath the striker, potentially from the left side is my best position.”
While he may have left in January if he was fully fit, it is clear he still has a role to play this season. He started the last Premier League game against Everton in place of Mudryk.
