According to L’Equipe, Chelsea are interested in signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
The report in the French publication has claimed that the Blues are in talks with PSG over a possible move.
Neymar is one of the best forwards around and is a global figure.
The Brazilian was having a very good season before he suffered a long-term injury back in February.
Neymar becomes Ligue 1 champion with PSG
But, even in the absence of the former Barcelona forward, PSG have done the job.
PSG played out a 1-1 draw with Strasbourg away from home in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
The result is enough for PSG to win the Ligue 1 title.
This is the 11th time that PSG have won the French league title.
Neymar – described as “a fantastic player” by former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore in CaughtOffSide in February 2023 – made 18 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 this season before his injury.
The PSG forward scored 13 goals and gave 11 assists in those games.
The former Barcelona star also scored two goals and provided two assists in six UEFA Champions League matches for PSG this campaign.
Neymar has won the Ligue 1 title five times with PSG.
During his time at Barcelona, the 31-year-old won the La Liga title twice, the Copa del Rey thrice, and the UEFA Champions League on one occasion.
