‘I can’t say’: 22-year-old midfielder admits he doesn’t know if he’ll move this summer amid Chelsea links
Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana has claimed he isn’t actually sure if he will leave his club this summer.
He told The Evening Standard that he is aware that big clubs have a habit of coming to the Ligue 1 side and poaching their players.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Fofana as they attempt to bolster their options in the middle of the park for next season.

It is believed the Blues are looking for a long-term option to partner Enzo Fernandez in midfield, after being impressed with him since his January transfer.
The club are dealing with potentially losing Mateo Kovacic this summer, after no effort has been made to extend his contract that will run out at the end of next season.
Fofana himself has now admitted he can’t say for sure whether he will be on the move at the end of the campaign.
Fofana coy on future
He said: “Monaco is a great club in France and Europe. A lot of big clubs come here to find players and we are all aware of this.
“If it is the right opportunity or moment [to leave], I can’t say. I don’t know but we are doing things the right way here at the moment.

“I have already played with top players but if one day I can play with more big names then it will be a pleasure and mean I have performed well.”
Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen on adding a central midfielder to his ranks for when he finally takes over the club as expected this summer.
This signing is likely to be joined by reinforcements to both the striker role and goalkeeper, after their very obvious shortcomings have been well-documented this season.
