'In contention': Frank Lampard hints 23-year-old could start for Chelsea vs Arsenal

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Kai Havertz is back ‘in contention’ to play against Arsenal tomorrow.
Speaking at his latest press conference, which was covered by Football London, Lampard confirmed that Havertz has recovered from injury.
The Chelsea striker sat out of the Blues’ last game against Brentford in midweek, after suffering with a knee issue.
But it seems that his recovery will be a swift one, and he could well be in line for a start on Tuesday.
“Kai Havertz is in contention,” Lampard said.
Should Havertz start?

With goals so hard to come by at the minute, Havertz may well be in line to start given that he is fit.
Nobody really staked a claim for a place up-front against Brentford in Chelsea’s last outing.
Both Conor Gallagher and Raheem Sterling started the game up-top but neither had much impact.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang did come off the bench and improve things slightly, but it still seems doubtful that Lampard would turn to him.
Havertz, himself, is hardly a prolific scorer but he may be one of Chelsea’s best hopes of a route to goal at this moment in time.
What Lampard will know is that his side will have to improve significantly if they are to pick up a result.
Arsenal have been in great form this term, even if their results have dipped recently, and only a big up-turn in performance levels from Chelsea will give them any chance of getting the three points.
