Report: Chelsea are still scouting £85m man who was one of the World Cup's biggest stars, he's 'very special'
Reports have claimed that Chelsea are still scouting RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol ahead of a potential transfer this summer.
According to the Mail Online, the Bundesliga side are going to be demanding a fee of around £85m to lose their young star in the upcoming transfer window.
Chelsea have been long-term admirers of Gvardiol, with them strongly linked with a deal to sign him last summer.

Interest came after the club had already secured deals for Wesley Fofana, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella to try and strengthen the backline.
Instead, they missed out on a deal for the Croatian, and were then forced to watch as he put on one of the performances of the World Cup during the winter.
He was sensational as he helped lead his country to a third-place finish, with his personal displays seeing him described as ‘very special’.
Chelsea still scouting Gvardiol
Reports that they are interested in Gvardiol come despite the fact that loanee Levi Colwill is set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
The Englishman has proven to be a brilliant player this season during his loan spell with the overachieving Brighton side.
It has already been claimed that Chelsea are adamant that they will not be allowing the youngster to leave under any circumstances this summer.

Instead, it is claimed that the club are looking to bring him straight into the first team when new manager Mauricio Pochettino eventually takes over the club.
This will already congest the backline options, and adding Gvardiol would only make things more difficult for everyone to establish themselves.
Nevertheless, the Croatian is set for big things in the future when he gets his move out of the Bundesliga.
