Report: Chelsea now send scouts to watch 25-year-old striker, he scored in front of them

Reports have claimed that Chelsea recently sent scours to watch Roma striker Tammy Abraham.

According to 90min, chiefs from the Blues were in attendance as he found the net in a crucial game against AC Milan.

Abraham has been linked with a move back to the Premier League pretty much ever since he made the switch to the Serie A following his time at Chelsea.

The managerial change that brought Thomas Tuchel to Stamford Bridge was essentially the kiss of death for the England international at Stamford Bridge, with him hardly featuring at all.

He enjoyed a stellar first campaign in Italy last year, with his goals leading his side to the inaugural Europa Conference League trophy.

He has not been nearly as prolific this season, however has been finding the net more in recent weeks as his Roma side look to finish in the top four.

They were very close to taking a massive step towards that feat when they faced AC Milan recently. Despite Abraham scoring in stoppage time, they were pegged back late on.

It has now been claimed that Chelsea are one of the sides who had scouts in attendance for the game, and will no doubt have been impressed as he found the net in their presence.

Striker is a well-documented area of the pitch that needs addressing in west London, with goals extremely hard to come by this season.

The Blues have been linked with a number of players, even with the imminent arrival of attacker Christopher Nkunku at the end of the season.

It may seem a step back to some thought if the club’s answer is a player they sold for ultimately not being good enough only a few years ago.
