Assessing his options: 20m Chelsea player now considering going on loan next season - journalist
Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukuemeka is assessing his options ahead of a potential loan move next season.
He took to Twitter to claim he is one of the young stars at the club who are considering a temporary spell away from Stamford Bridge.
Chukwuemeka was only handed sporadic opportunities to impress last season, with many supporters very impressed by what they saw.

It seems as if the signing was not made with manager at the time Thomas Tuchel in mind, with one of the reasons he and owner Todd Boehly not getting along was his refusal to utilise the £20m summer signing.
Opportunities were still far and few between for the young Englishman under either Graham Potter or Frank Lampard, even if the club held him back from representing his country at youth level temporarily.
Kinsella has now claimed that he could be one of a number of youngsters at the club who could be on the move on a temporary basis this summer.

He said: “Chelsea (and all clubs) only have seven senior loan spots available and the club want to move towards using them mostly for ‘development loans’ with Carney Chukwuemeka, Gabriel Slonina and Omari Hutchinson among many who are assessing their options.”
It seems as if the project of signing young players which started with Chukwuemeka is carrying on, after the Blues brought in the likes of Andrey Santos in January.
There are some at the club who believe that the addition of the young Brazilian is their most impressive coup of the window, with them going on to sign Enzo Fernandez later that month.
