In the next days: Chelsea are now about to make a big bid for incredible player Romano

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are preparing another bid in the next few days for midfielder Moises Caicedo.

He told GiveMeSport that the transfer saga is going to be a hot topic in the next few days.

A lot of talk regarding incomings at Stamford Bridge this summer has so far revolved around Caicedo.

The Ecuador international is reportedly allowed to leave the club this summer after agreeing to remain in January, when the Blues had a bid rejected for his services and he went on to sign a new contract.

Chelsea remain interested in the deal as they look around the market to find who they believe to be the perfect midfield compliment to Enzo Fernandez, who has impressed greatly.

After being blown out the water in an attempt to sign Manuel Ugarte, attention quickly turned to the player Adam Lallana recently described as ‘incredible’.

Chelsea to bid for Caicedo

Romano has now claimed that the next few days are going to be intriguing in regards to what the future will look like for Caicedo.

He said: “It’s now about reaching an agreement with Brighton. We know how tough it is to negotiate with Brighton, especially when you want to get their best player, so the conversation is not going to be easy.

“But Chelsea will be there. Chelsea will bid because they want Moises Caicedo, so I’m sure that this is going to be a hot topic in the next days.”

The Blues are reportedly waiting for a number of outgoings to be confirmed before making any more signings, and this could be done soon with a collection of first team stars headed to Saudi Arabia.

With other big sides reportedly sniffing around, a deal is imperative to be completed as soon as possible.
