Report: David Moyes really likes 21-year-old Chelsea striker, West Ham could move

West Ham United could reportedly try to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea.

According to The Times, West Ham United manager David Moyes really likes Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

The report has claimed that Moyes “likes Broja for his strength in pressing and tried to sign him last summer”.

However, Chelsea’s dithering frustrated West Ham, who decided to bring in Gianluca Scamacca instead.

The Times have added that West Ham are now “considering renewing their interest” in the 21-year-old Albania international striker this summer.

Chelsea should not send Armando Broja to West Ham United

In our view, Chelsea should keep Armando Broja in their squad for next season and not send him to West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino is the new manager of Chelsea now.

And we know that the Argentine is very good with young players and can improve them.

The 21-year-old should recover from his serious knee injury and be ready for pre-season.

Broja ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and has been on the sidelines since December 2022.

Chelsea are reportedly on the hunt for a quality number 9, and there is also the prospect of Romelu Lukaku returning from his loan spell at Inter Milan.

However, we believe that Pochettino should keep Broja and work with him in pre-season and for the first half of next campaign at least and then take it from there.
