Report: Spectacular 35m player will be Mauricio Pochettinos first Chelsea signing in the next few days
Reports from Spain have claimed that Nicolas Jackson is very close to securing his move to Chelsea.
According to El Periodico Mediterraneo, the Blues are close to paying a fee of nearly £35m to make him the first signing of the Mauricio Pochettino era.
Reports last week linked the Blues to Jackson after he ended the La Liga season on a major high at Villarreal.

He was even named the player of the month for May, with the league put on note at just how talented the 21-year-old is.
The striker was described as ‘spectacular’ by current manager Quique Setien, and a move to the Premier League looked set to come his way back in January.
Jackson to join Chelsea
A fee was agreed with Bournemouth, who have recently been taken over by a new consortium, however he remained in Spain for at least the end of the season.
However, he now looks set for a move to Stamford Bridge, with the glaring goal issue the first thing the club are looking to address.
They have been linked to a number of big names up front, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen arguably the dream addition up front.

It is likely that Jackson will be coming in as a young striker for the present but mostly the future, which asks questions as to what the current crop in West London will be doing.
Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana are also currently filling that role, however their futures now look less secure if the Senegal international joins the club.
The Albanian in particular could be subject of interest from Premier League sides, after showing he has the quality to make an impact before he suffered a season-ending injury back in December.
