The future: Wesley Fofana says that 21-year-old Chelsea player is the future of the club
Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has claimed that he believes Noni Madueke is the future of the club.
He claimed in a TikTok challenge with ESPN where he was looking to describe his teammates in as few words as possible.
Despite the dire campaign last time out, the performances late in the season of Madueke were certainly a positive to take into the future.

He struggled to nail down any real minutes under former manager Graham Potter, who was in charge when the 21-year-old joined the club.
However, if there is one positive from Frank Lampard’s temporary spell back in charge of the Blues it is for sure seeing Madueke become more of a regular.
He opened his account with a goal against Arsenal, and frequently looked a threat as a genuine winger up against full-backs.
Fofana praises Madueke
It seems the England U21 international has had a similar impression on his teammates, with Fofana being very straight forward in his praise for him.
When asked to describe him briefly, he simply said: “The future.”
The Frenchman is one of those who are looking for an improvement personally next season, with injuries plaguing his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.

When he was fit, he certainly looked as if he has a future at the club, with him looking primed to take over from Thiago Silva when he eventually moves on from West London.
He will likely have another new defender to contend with as part of their new era, with Levi Colwill now back from his loan spell at Brighton.
The club are reportedly insistent that the youngster is going to be part of their plans next season, with that opinion now being shared by new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
