‘Ideal’: Chelsea not giving up on signing £68m player who Pochettino has specifically asked for – journalist
Journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Chelsea are not giving up on signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus this summer.
He told GiveMeSport that the player has been specifically requested by manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the upcoming season.
Juventus are reportedly keen to get rid of Vlahovic this summer, as they set their sights on signing their own big name from Chelsea.

They are now the most likely landing spot for Romelu Lukaku, after he burned his bridges with Inter Milan off the back of his loan there last season.
The Belgian is still not keen on a move to Saudi Arabia, and will be hoping the Serie A side can find a solution for the Serbian in order to open up space him for him to join.
However, Galetti has claimed that despite Chelsea’s interest, Juventus are struggling because of the price tag they have set, which has previously been claimed as £68m.
Chelsea still want Vlahovic
He said: “So, Vlahovic is not an abandoned option. On the contrary, he’s the ideal, as I’ve told some times, the profile requested by Pochettino.
“However, as told, Juventus’ asking price is considered too high and Chelsea want to take their time if the competition allows that, to negotiate the demands with Juventus.”

A striker could still be on the agenda at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that goals have been flowing during pre-season.
These have come off the back of new signings Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, who have both found the net in the opening fixtures under Mauricio Pochettino.
With a midfielder looking far more of a necessary addition to make this summer, the Blues should perhaps prioritise finally getting a deal over the line for Moises Caicedo first.
