'Here we go soon': Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea are about to make their third signing in two days

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are now set to make Michael Olise their next big signing in the coming days.

He took to YouTube to state that the release clause has been activated by the Blues about bringing him in this summer.

Chelsea have really kicked into gear when it comes to their transfer business, and are now looking to add Olise’s name to their impressive list of additions.

Earlier this week saw them officially announce the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton after a fierce summer of negotiations.

To add to that midfield addition, it has been claimed that a medical will occur today in order for Romeo Lavia to complete his move to Stamford Bridge.

However, it now looks as if they are looking to bolster their attacking options, particularly looking at creativity.

Olise set for Chelsea

Romano has claimed that Chelsea are now keen to fix the final stages of a deal to bring in Olise from Crystal Palace.

He said: “I saw for many days people saying the clause had been removed. No. It was there, it was considered by both Chelsea and City. Now, Chelsea have decided to proceed, and with the player and his camp saying yes, being very open to joining Chelsea.

“Now, it’s time to fix the deal with the agents of the player, to prepare the structure of the deal, and then Olise is going to become third signing in a couple of days for Chelsea. Work in progress, here we go soon.”

After this deal, it is likely that Chelsea will be near enough done for the summer as their spending continues to rise in yet another transfer window.

It is more likely that a string of outgoings will hit the market in the final weeks of the season.
