Chelsea youngster is now not leaving this summer, he could play against Forest tomorrow
Journalist Lucas Musetti Perazolli has claimed that Chelsea youngster Deivid Washington is now not going to be leaving the club today.
He took to Twitter today to state that the forward may now be involved in tomorrow’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
Washington was one of the young players brought in this summer in an attempt to secure their futures before they reach their potential.
It has been a staple of Todd Boehly’s time at Chelsea to bring in some of the stars of tomorrow, before normally loaning them out to further their development.
Washington to stay at Chelsea
However, it has now emerged that this fate does not lie for Washington. Perazolli has claimed that he is now not going to be on the move this summer.
He said: “Deivid Washington has been linked to the match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest tomorrow, at 11am, for the fourth round of the Premier League.
“The striker is looking forward to staying at Chelsea, without being loaned out like Angelo did.”
Angelo Gabriel was another young player who has come to Stamford Bridge before being loaned out.
The attacker is going to spend this season on loan with Strasbourg.
