Report: 35-time league winners now have a grand plan to sign £250k-a-week Chelsea player in 2025
Reports from Spain have claimed that Real Madrid have put together a plan to sign Reece James from Chelsea in two years’ time.
According to AS, the 35-time La Liga winners have decided that they are willing to wait in order to land the man they desire in the future to fill the right-back role.
It is not the first time that the prestigious Madrid side have been linked with signing James, however last time did not come less than a year after he had just signed a big contract with the club.

He committed his long-term future to Stamford Bridge, and up to now there has been nothing to suggest something has happened which will make him question that.
His new contract will see him pick up a very tidy £250,000-a-week, and this will certainly play into any decision he may have to take.
Real Madrid want James in 2025
If anything, he will only likely be more committed to the cause after being named the new captain of the club before this season started.
Mauricio Pochettino put his faith in the 23-year-old to lead his club into the future, ahead of veteran Thiago Silva who was also considered.

With James’ insane abilities, it is perhaps not surprising that he is being targeted by one of the best clubs in the world.
It has to be remembered that any sale of the Englishman will go down as pure profit on the books, and the new owners have not been afraid to make big calls when it comes to academy graduates.
They were not afraid to tell Mason Mount exactly how much they thought he was worth, and that scenario ended up with him playing his football at Manchester United.
