'Very good': Fulham manager Marco Silva says he's a huge fan of Chelsea man
Fulham manager Marco Silva has paid tribute to opposite number Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Monday’s London derby against Chelsea.
Fulham host rivals Chelsea on Monday night at Craven Cottage, with the teams locking horns in the Premier League for the first time this season.
Under the guidance of Marco Silva, Fulham are bidding to establish themselves as a mid-table Premier League team with a talented squad of players.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino’s got the huge task as Chelsea head coach to gel together a very young group at Stamford Bridge.

Silva has praised Pochettino ahead of Monday’s meeting:
“I have a very good relationship with Mauricio. Chelsea is a tough job, all PL jobs are tough but he’s a very good manager & good guy as well. Will be nice to see him again,” Silva said, as quoted by journalist Ryan Taylor on X.

Chelsea’s league form has been alarming so far, winning just one from six so far. However, a midweek victory against Brighton in the Carabao Cup third round should give everyone a lift.
The early games under Pochettino’s management has seen them dominate possession against most teams, but they’re still struggling at the top end of the pitch to score goals.
Gary Neville and Roy Keane recently agree that Chelsea won’t get rid of Pochettino even if they keep losing games at this rate, as quoted by The Overlap.
However, the league results are certainly testing the patience of the fanbase at Stamford Bridge.
These next two games against Fulham and Burnley before the international break feel quite important in Chelsea’s season.
