'Off the pace': TalkSPORT pundit claims 24-year-old who left Chelsea this summer now just doesn't look right
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino thinks Mason Mount has looked off the pace since joining Manchester United.
Mason Mount left Chelsea for United during the summer transfer window and Cascarino, speaking on talkSPORT, says he has not got going yet at Old Trafford.
The attacking midfielder is yet to score or create a goal in the Premier League for Erik ten Hag’s side, though he has missed a few of their games because of injury.

Mount was able to provide an assist in United’s 3-0 win against Crystal Palace in the third round of the Carabao Cup, but supporters will be expecting more from the 24-year-old.
He cost the Manchester club around £60m in total.
Mason Mount off the pace
Cascarino does not think Mount looks himself right now and has compared his slow start to the season to Moises Caicedo’s.
On the Englishman, the talkSPORT pundit said: “Mason Mount joining the club, who had a long-term injury, hasn’t got going yet. He is off the pace.
“You know when I said when Caicedo signed from Brighton to Chelsea and he came in, he didn’t look right immediately. He’s off the pace of the game, so he needs to get that back.”
Mason Mount will not regret Manchester United move
It is still early days, so Mount will not be regretting leaving Chelsea just yet.
The season is obviously a long one and United are currently in the Champions League, so Mount does not need to feel too disappointed yet.

If things do not improve, then yes, the England international may start to wonder what would have happened if he remained at his boyhood club instead of moving to Old Trafford.
As for Chelsea, they have moved on from Mount, bringing in Cole Palmer from Manchester City, a similar type of player to United’s new No.7.
