'Don't know whether you noticed': Gary Lineker amazed by what he saw Raheem Sterling do six times vs Man City
Gary Lineker could not help but notice one thing Raheem Sterling kept doing in Chelsea’s incredible 4-4 draw with Manchester City yesterday.
Raheem Sterling managed to get himself on the scoresheet against his former club, but that was not the only thing that impressed Gary Lineker.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, the former England striker was also quick to highlight how many nutmegs the winger completed.
It was perhaps Sterling’s best performance since arriving at Chelsea last summer.

Raheem Sterling’s display against Manchester City
Lineker says he counted about five or six nutmegs that Sterling did yesterday.
Discussing the 28-year-old’s display against his old side on The Rest Is Football, the Three Lions legend said: “I don’t know whether you noticed today but I counted about five or six nutmegs that Sterling did in the game today!
“I don’t know if anyone else noticed but it was like it’s another one, and another one, and another one!”
Raheem Sterling in top form
Sterling struggled last season and did not have the best campaign after his £50m move (BBC Sport) from City.
In total, the England international scored just six goals in 28 Premier League appearances.
However, this term, he looks to be back to his best again. He is only two goals away from equalling his tally from the last campaign despite it only being November. What has really been impressive about Sterling, though, is his dribbling.
According to WhoScored, he completed four dribbles against City yesterday, more than any other Chelsea player.
Right now, the former Liverpool man looks like a complete winger. If he can keep it up, Chelsea could go on to have a good season.
At one point, Champions League football did appear to be out of reach. But Sterling, who was hailed for his recent performance by John Terry, and his team-mates are now 10 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur after their loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers. It is still a big gap but not one that is impossible to overturn.
Next up for Chelsea is a trip to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United.
