Chelsea are going to sign another youngster in January and loan him straight out - expert
It has now been claimed that one of Chelsea’s January signings is not actually being brought in with an immediate future at Stamford Bridge in mind.
According to TheSecretScout, the deal to sign youngster Pape Daouda Diong will actually be for the benefit of sister club Strasbourg rather than the Blues at this early stage in his career.
Diong was in attendance on Tuesday as Chelsea booked their place in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup in dramatic circumstances.

They beat Newcastle on penalties, with plenty of praise going the way of the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk and Djordje Petrovic for the part they played.
There was an element of attention on what was going on off the pitch too, with a big star of the future in attendance.
Kendry Paez, who is already a Chelsea player and will join up with the squad in 2025, attended his first game at Stamford Bridge, with him sure to not be disappointed with what he saw.
Diong set for Strasbourg
Sitting just behind him though was Diongue, who is an extremely promising player coming out of Senegal.
The defensive midfielder recently starred in the U-17 World Cup, and now looks set to take a huge step in his career with a move to West London.
Fabrizio Romano claimed yesterday that the Blues were close to securing a deal for the talented youngster, who would be able to link up if they wanted to at the end of the season.
However, The Secret Scout has now claimed that the club actually have something else in mind right now.
He said: “It’s a transfer for Strasbourg.”
The Blues have already looked to get the most out of their new feeder club by sending one of their most promising youth prospects there this season.
Angelo Gabriel has enjoyed a strong start to life in European football and will be hoping for an impressive second half to the season in France.
