'I am thinking'... Chris Sutton predicts who is winning this weekend - Chelsea or Brighton
Chris Sutton has made his latest prediction ahead of Chelsea against Brighton this weekend.
Chelsea host Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.
For the Blues, they’ve had a week to reflect on last Saturday’s embarrassing 4-1 defeat at Newcastle United. It was the worst way to resume after the international break.
Meanwhile, Brighton have recorded back-to-back wins in the last few days. They beat Nottingham Forest in the league last weekend before a victory away to AEK Athens yesterday in the Europa League.
Despite the home advantage, Chelsea are miles from a banker against a Brighton side above them in the league table.

Chelsea vs Brighton prediction
Sutton has gone with a Chelsea win over Brighton in his pre-match prediction:
“I just have to laugh when I think about trying to make a prediction here,” Sutton told BBC Sport.
“I say every week how I have no idea what to expect from Chelsea, and every week I get it wrong. They are so inconsistent, while Brighton are not exactly easy to call at the moment either, because they concede so many goals.
“I will be right about Chelsea at some point, though, and this time I am thinking they surely have to respond after they lost so heavily at Newcastle.
“Brighton play AEK Athens in Greece on Thursday night and, because of that, I am going to go with Mauricio Pochettino’s side to edge a high-scoring game… so stand by for a 0-0 draw that is last on MOTD2.
“Sutton’s prediction: 3-2.”
Elsewhere, Paul Merson has made his score prediction for the Chelsea showdown with Brighton (Sportskeeda).
Head-to-head record
Chelsea and Brighton played at the Bridge back in September in the Carabao Cup, with the hosts securing a narrow 1-0 win.
However, Brighton have won the previous two league meetings against Chelsea, scoring six goals in the process.
If Roberto De Zerbi’s side are in the mood, they’ve shown they’e one of the best footballing sides in England’s top division.
