‘They might be’: Jurgen Klopp shares what he has noticed about Chelsea after watching them recently

Jurgen Klopp has now shared what he has recently noticed about Chelsea after watching them play in the last few weeks.

He told journalist Ian Doyle that he believes the Blues are actually one of the in form sides in the Premier League, and is clearly aware of the dangers tonight’s opponents hold.

Tonight will see Chelsea travel to Liverpool in what is being seen by many as a dress rehearsal to the EFL Cup final that is set to place next month.

Chelsea booked their place in the occasion at Wembley with a thumping win in what has so far been their most important game of the season.

A 6-1 rout at Stamford Bridge over Championship side Middlesbrough was actually a sign of their form on whole in recent weeks.

While performances haven’t always been there, results on the pitch have been heading in the right direction for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

This has not gone unnoticed for Jurgen Klopp, who has claimed that he is well aware of the threat the visitors will bring tonight.

He said: “They are much better, playing really good stuff. Nobody has any doubt about the manager. They might be the team in form, won majority of games recently. We played them first match and we were not great that day and they were pretty good.”

Pochettino will have a number of decisions to make tonight when it comes to team selection in the battle against the league leaders.

One of those could revolve around who is going to start in the striker position, a role that has not been easy to fill in recent weeks.

He could be able to welcome back Nicolas Jackson after finished representing his country at the African Cup of Nations. He is now expected to make the bench tonight.
