Cole Palmer makes statement after Euro 2024 heartbreak, Benoit Badiashile sends three-word response
Of all the England players who are no doubt gutted with how Euro 2024 ended, there will perhaps be no one more disappointed than a Chelsea player.
Cole Palmer had to wait patiently in every single England game to make an impact this summer, however he certainly went about it the right way in the final against Spain.
Brought on by Gareth Southgate to save the day again, he looked as if he had done just that when a trademark long-range finish found the bottom corner to level the game.

Marc Cucurella set up a winning goal with five minutes to go though, piling more misery on England and their supporters in a major competition.
Fellow Spain star Rodri tipped him to have a big career off the back of the game, with them previously featuring together at Manchester City.
Palmer sends thanks to England fans
Last night saw Palmer take to Instagram to thank England fans for their support, whilst also sharing just how gutted he is.
He said: “Gutted. An honour to represent my country in a major tournament, thank you to everyone for their support throughout the tournament.”
Badiashile sends message of support to Palmer
Club teammate Benoit Badiashile was quick to respond to the statement, simply replying: “Head up brother.”

Palmer will now be given a well earned couple of weeks off before he returns to Cobham as part of pre-season under new manager Enzo Maresca.
The first team players have been back for a number of days now, with a tour of the United States coming up soon.
A number of Chelsea supporters who play Fantasy Football will no doubt be keen to bring in the 22-year-old as part of their teams for the opening game of the season.
If they do bring him in, they will need to pay a serious amount of their budget to get him after his record-breaking rise in price was revealed.
