Enzo Maresca has banished £71m Chelsea player to train with the reserves in pre-season
The new Chelsea manager has got to work looking to prepare his players for a pre-season tour of the United States.
Enzo Maresca has been heard already looking to get a number of his philosophies across to his new players.
It has been a large squad he has been working with too. A number of previously injured stars such as Wesley Fofana have been spotted back in action.
There has also been the opportunity for some of those who spent last season on loan away from the club to prove to the Italian that they should have a chance to feature this season.
However, it looks as if this has not been possible for returning Champions League winner Kepa Arrizabalaga.

After a season where he spent the second half warming the bench, it seems he has not been welcomed back to be amongst those in Maresca’s plans.
Kepa Arrizabalaga banished to Chelsea reserves
This is according to Allen Stand Upper, who took to Twitter to state that the Spaniard was actually featuring alongside the reserves right now.
They said: “Kepa is training with the development squad not the first team.”
It is fair to say it has not been a roaring success since the Blues spent the hefty £71m fee to bring Kepa in.
There looks to be no chance at all that the Spain international forces his way back into plans at Stamford Bridge, although there is no sign that he would even want to.
It has been claimed that he has no plans to feature again for the Blues, and would rather his move to Madrid was made permanent after their successes last season.
Reports are stating that Robert Sanchez is likely at the moment to get the nod for the first game of the season against Manchester City.
This would mean he starts ahead of Djorjde Petrovic, who it is fair to say did very little wrong after establishing his place in his first season of Premier League football.
