Report: What Chelsea players really thought about Enzo Maresca’s first week of training sessions
Chelsea are now less than a week away from officially kicking off pre-season with their first friendly fixture.
Enzo Maresca and his players will be flying to the United States imminently in order to get a proper look at the players he has available to him for next season.
He has already been able to take a look at some of the club’s new signings. Marc Guiu was spotted in training for the first time yesterday, and is expected to be on the tour.

Chelsea players really happy with Maresca training
The players now have more than a week of experience working with the Italian, and they will have started to form their own opinions about what is to come next season at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Mail Online, there is only positivity surrounding what he has brought to the club since his arrival.
The hands on approach with the players has been clear to see. Maresca has been heard firing instructions to Noni Madueke among others during sessions.
The boss will no doubt be impressed by the commitment shown by Mykhailo Mudryk to return to training early, despite representing his nation at Euro 2024.
Chelsea vs Manchester City to start the season
As far as opening day fixtures go, it can’t really have gotten any more difficult for Maresca in what is going to be his first game in charge in the Premier League.
He will be up against former employers Manchester City, however the difficulty does present a fantastic opportunity for him to lay down a real statement early on to Pep Guardiola.
Another player who will again be looking to take his chance to do this is Cole Palmer, who will no doubt want to continue his spree of proving the Champions made the wrong decision in letting him leave the club.
Palmer has already been spotted in the gym just days after his Euro 2024 exit, showing he is clearly hungry for success next season.
