‘Signed’: Chelsea player has completed his medical to join Premier League rivals – Fabrizio Romano

Chelsea have been busy with both incomings and outgoings during the opening few weeks of the summer transfer window.

The headline signing up to now has been Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who looks set to slot right into the starting midfield after his previous stellar campaign under Enzo Maresca at Leicester City.

They have also brought in Tosin Adarabioyo, as well as a plethora of young players to boost their prospects for the future.

However, with the magnitude of young stars coming in to the club, there was always going to be a chance that some of the promising talents developing their skills at Cobham were going to slip through their fingers.

It looks as if this has been the case for Ryan McAidoo, who has previously been described as ‘great’.

Ryan McAidoo completes Manchester City medical

Fabrizio Romano has stated that he has completed his medical to become a new Manchester City player.

He said on Twitter: “Ryan McAidoo has completed medical tests and signed long-term deal as new Manchester City player after he left Chelsea. Exclusive story, confirmed.

“Man City are also close to agreeing terms for England U16 captain Harrison Miles.”

Manchester City break gentleman’s agreement with Chelsea

It was previously claimed that there was a gentleman’s agreement in place between the two sides that they would not look to poach young talents off each other, however it now looks as if that has fallen by the wayside.

For any Chelsea fans who are upset by the departure of a highly regarded academy starlet, they should always remember the quality of some of the players they can look forward to seeing play in the coming years at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will have both Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez joining up with them next summer, and the quality they have already shown for both their club and countries respectively suggests there are plenty of good things to look forward to if you are a Blues supporter.
