‘Losing patience’: Enzo Maresca is already getting tired of ‘lost’ Chelsea player – journalist
Enzo Maresca will have been delighted to get the first win of his Chelsea career under his belt in the Conference League last night.
The Blues won 2-0 against Servette at Stamford Bridge, with second half goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke the difference between the sides.
There was real worry when Cole Palmer limped off the pitch at full-time, however Maresca believes the issue is not serious.
He was given the opportunity to make nine changes from the side who started against Manchester City last weekend.
One player who therefore got his chance to feature was Mykhailo Mudryk, with him being an unused sub in the defeat to City.

Maresca losing patience with Mykhailo Mudryk
It is fair to say Mudryk did not take his opportunity though, and disappointed many with his performance.
Journalist Ryan Taylor has stated that the new manager is beginning to lose his patience with the winger already.
He said: “Enzo Maresca is losing patience with Mykhailo Mudryk. He’s been incredibly indecisive & wasted several promising attacks. Maresca is trying to coach him through the game but Mudryk looks lost out of possession. Doesn’t know where or when to press.”
It remains to be seen who Maresca chooses to start on the left of attack for the game against Wolves on Sunday, however it feels unlikely at this stage that it will be Mudryk.
Noni Madueke making case to start for Chelsea
Christopher Nkunku played in that position against City, and he opened his account for the season from the spot last night.
Pedro Neto was handed a start too, however he struggled to make any real impact that suggested he was a must-start against his former side on Sunday.
Noni Madueke is continuing to make a strong case to start for the Blues, even at a time where there is talk that he may be sold still this summer. He backed up his strong pre-season with another goal last night.
