‘Again’: Chelsea fans are losing patience in ‘inconsistent’ player after watching him for his country
The quality of the Chelsea squad has meant that the manager has seen the majority of his side have left him over the last week to represent their countries.
Enzo Maresca is finally getting some his key players returning to first team training ahead of the trip to former side Leicester City in the Premier League.
Jadon Sancho has been seen back in training after injury, while some of his teammates are playing their final international games of 2024.
There are concerns over the midfield ahead of their next game, with Romeo Lavia pulling out of representing his country due to a hamstring issue. A change could be needed in the middle of the park.

Robert Sanchez disappoints Chelsea fans on international duty
One position there is likely to be no change in though is between the sticks, meaning that Robert Sanchez will remain the starting goalkeeper.
After what has been described by David Seaman as an ‘inconsistent’ season for Sanchez, he failed to impress after being beaten at his near post for a goal against Spain last night.
Chelsea fans took to Twitter after the game to share that they were losing patience in the goalkeeper and his performances.
One user said: “Robert Sanchez beaten at his near post again, this guy will be the end of Maresca if care is not taken.”
Another added: “Ladies and gentlemen… Robert SANCHEZ.”
One simply put: “Robert Sanchez lol.”
A fourth claimed: “Virtually every Chelsea player on int duty is performing well… then there’s Robert Sanchez.”
Finally, one user said: “Robert Sanchez beaten at his near post again!”
Filip Jorgensen waiting for opportunity for Chelsea
Some supporters will be wondering what it will take for Filip Jorgensen to be handed his first Premier League start for the club after joining over the summer.
His appearances so far have been limited to cup competitions, although he has used his minutes well at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca has kept the faith in Sanchez so far, and will be hoping that this backing is rewarded with a string of good performances when the Premier League has returned at the weekend.
