Cole Palmer shares what he's been doing with Nicolas Jackson to improve their relationship on the pitch
Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson are Chelsea’s two most important attacking players right now.
Both Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson have managed to score eight goals each in the Premier League this term, while the former also has six assists.
The duo were on the scoresheet in Chelsea‘s 3-0 win against Aston Villa over the weekend, and Gary Neville is happy to see Jackson performing after a season of criticism.
Palmer has now spoken about his relationship with his teammate, who opened the scoring for Chelsea on Sunday.

Palmer feels that he and Jackson already work well together on the pitch.
However, the attacking midfielder has revealed that they are still communicating constantly off it to improve their relationship.
“Me and Nico work well together,” Palmer was quoted as saying by Chelsea’s official website after the Villa game. “We speak to each other every day and we message each other after games.
“We’re trying to work on our relationship to help us on the pitch and hopefully that work is showing.”
While Palmer and Jackson managed to get their names on the scoresheet against Unai Emery’s side, Moises Caicedo also had a great game and deserves credit for his performance.

Again, Palmer and Jackson are Chelsea’s two best attackers, with the former slightly outperforming his teammate.
Not only does Palmer have more assists than Jackson, which is understandable given his role in the team, but the 22-year-old is also completing more key passes and dribbles per league game.
Palmer is taking more shots, though, yet has the same number of goals, showing how clinical Jackson has actually been this season.

Enzo Maresca‘s men take on Southampton, who are at the bottom of the table, next. That could be a great opportunity for the pair to add to their tallies.
