Chelsea star Jadon Sancho sends message to Marcus Rashford after Aston Villa debut, makes huge dig at Man United
One Chelsea player who will have been very grateful for the opportunity to make a fresh start at Stamford Bridge is Jadon Sancho.
The winger looked set for another season away from regular football at Manchester United, before the Blues came in with a deadline day move to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy.
Sancho has been a regular starter under Enzo Maresca, and while his form has not been great of late he has the backing of his manager to turn things around.

Jadon Sancho makes dig at Manchester United after sending message to Marcus Rashford
The situation that affected him at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag recently occurred for Marcus Rashford under Ruben Amorim, and he recently got his own move away to Aston Villa.
The England international made his debut for his new club in the FA Cup, and while Chelsea crashed out against Brighton, Villa progressed after a 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Rashford impressed off the bench for the hosts, and was quick to take to Instagram to celebrate his debut.
One of the first players to respond to this post was Sancho, who wasn’t afraid to aim a dig at United in the process.
He said: “Freedom” as his friend and former teammate returned to the pitch for the first time since December.

What has Jadon Sancho said about Man United?
Sancho’s time at United was destined to come to an end after he was left out of a matchday squad, with Ten Hag stating it was because of how he conducted himself in training.

In a now-deleted social media post, the winger hit back at the manager, saying he had been treated like a scapegoat.
He said (via Sky Sports): “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is (sic) completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, l’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
“I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and (am) grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge.
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
The relationship deteriorated to the point where United were happy for him to leave on loan, and after a brief stint at Borussia Dortmund, he found himself making the move to Stamford Bridge.
