Premier League club interested in signing Tyrique George as they send scouts to watch youngster's impressive performance

With the onset of injuries that have affected first team stars at Chelsea this season, a number of young players have been handed their chance to make their mark this season.

One of the players who made his first team debut under Enzo Maresca is Tyrique George, with him establishing himself as a regular member of the squad.

While he is yet to find the net, George boasts an impressive assist record in the mostly substitute appearances he has made for the Blues.

Maresca called for George to step up in the absence of key attackers Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and even Cole Palmer, and he has done just that to the benefit of Chelsea as they look to keep up their fight for Champions League qualification for next season.

Everton interested in Tyrique George

Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez are set to join the first team at the end of this season, with there currently no plans for either to leave on loan after joining.

This could make regular appearances hard to come by for George in the coming campaigns, and potentially see him need to look elsewhere if he wants consistent minutes.

An opportunity could be about to arise in the Premier League. The Chelsea Chronicle understands that Everton are showing interest in signing George this summer.

The Toffees are admirers of the young talent, and have been in attendance to watch him play recently at international level.

George impresses for England U19s

The Chelsea Chronicle understands Everton had representatives in attendance for one of the England U19 games during the recent international break.

The attacker started all three games for his country alongside a host of Chelsea youngsters including Josh Acheampong.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea would be open to offers for one of the most promising recent graduates from the academy, however it would become hard to argue that a place in the starting side is clear to see in the coming years.
