Chelsea showing 'real interest' in signing top-scoring youngster who recently starred on international stage
It has been a clear aim of Chelsea to search all corners of the globe to find the best young talent for the future at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are already awaiting the addition of Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez at the end of the season, with both being touted as some of the most promising youngsters in the game.
It was reported the Blues had closed a deal to sign Endrick when he was playing in Brazil, however were eventually beaten to the punch by Real Madrid.
Chelsea will therefore be taking note of any international tournament at youth level in order to make sure they are not beaten to the punch by fellow elite sides.

This has been the case with the ongoing U17 African Cup of Nations, with Mali and Morocco set to take part in the final.
One of the stars of the competition has been striker Asharaf Loukman Tapsoba, an individual who had found goals easy to come by before Burkina Faso’s exit at the the semi-final stage.
The Chelsea Chronicle understands that the Blues sent top scout Achirou Goah to the competition to gain exposure to some of Africa’s best young talent.
One player that has emerged at the top of their list is Tapsoba. The quarter-final win over Zambia saw him score a hat-trick, as well as set another goal up for his teammate.

Chelsea’s plan for African investment
Some of the best players to ever play for Chelsea have been African internationals. The likes of Didier Drogba, John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien are all amongst legends of the club.
It has previously been reported that there is a plan in place to increase their investment into Africa, with them already looking for the next top talent.
Chelsea offered a trial to Emile Witbooi, with the South African spending four weeks trying to impress at Cobham.
There has been no real update on whether this turned into a full-time contract, however has been the catalyst for their interest in African football, and leading them to the impressive performances of Tapsoba.
