‘Let’s help each other’… Chelsea fans issue plea to Man United amid Christopher Nkunku interest
Manchester United’s interest in Christopher Nkunku has got a lot of Chelsea supporters on social media talking at the moment.
On Monday, it emerged that Nkunku has become a target for United, who are in dire need of reinforcements.
They had a torrid season last term, finishing 15th in the Premier League table. Ruben Amorim’s men also went on to lose the Europa League final, being beaten 1-0 by Tottenham Hotspur.
Bayern Munich have been linked with Nkunku as well, but United now look to be the frontrunners for his signature. Chelsea fans, however, want something, or rather someone, from their rivals in return.

Chelsea fans want Nkunku-Garnacho swap deal
While United are interested in Nkunku, Chelsea are keen on one of the Red Devils’ players: Alejandro Garnacho.
Chelsea could now sign Garnacho and Jamie Gittens as they look to strengthen out wide, with some fans now calling for a trade.
One Chelsea supporter on X has asked for either Garnacho or Kobbie Mainoo. “Swap deal for Garnacho or Mainoo.”
Another Chelsea fan said: “Give us Garnacho and balance us 30m.”
After news of United’s interest in Nkunku broke, one user on X posted: “Take Nkunku, give me Garnacho.”
Another Chelsea supporter made it clear that he is not against the idea of swapping Nkunku for Garnacho. “Garnacho-Nkunku swap? Lowest of keys I could be down for it.”
For one Chelsea fan, the Blues and United could both benefit from such a deal. “Garnacho-Nkunku swap. Let’s help each other United bros.”
And another supporter made it clear they would back any move that would see Nkunku head to Old Trafford and Garnacho move in the opposite direction. “Swap Nkunku for Garnacho? I’m 100% behind that deal. There’s a great player in Garnacho, just played in a terrible United side last year.”

Nkunku-Garnacho swap makes sense for Chelsea
If you are the Chelsea board, then swapping Nkunku for Garnacho is a no-brainer. Nkunku does not really fit into Enzo Maresca‘s plans, while the Italian needs a new winger.
Maresca has been left light in the wide positions following Jadon Sancho’s exit. He is also still without Mykhailo Mudryk.
While Nkunku and Garnacho could indeed swap clubs this summer, they are likely to move in separate deals, according to The Telegraph. Whatever the case, a change in environment could be good for both players.
