Chelsea fans would take £52m target in a heartbeat, ‘take us to potential title winners’
It’s definitely an exciting time to be a Chelsea supporter right now as the team takes strides forward under this ownership. In fact, the Blues fanbase are thrilled with the latest transfer speculation about who’s on the club’s radar.
Chelsea are clearly progressing with their young group of players, winning both the Conference League and Club World Cup last season.
Despite claims that Enzo Maresca’s target is a top-four finish next season, Blues fans may be dreaming of bigger and better things because of the exciting squad. It’s only getting stronger with multiple new additions, too.

Chelsea to make offer for Giorgio Scalvini
There are plenty of quality central defenders in Chelsea’s current squad, but they’ve just been linked with Atalanta star Giorgio Scalvini.
It’s been reported this week that Chelsea are preparing an ‘initial offer’ for Scalvini, the £52m-rated Atalanta defender. In addition, Maresca’s side are looking to move quickly to wrap up a deal for the 21-year-old talent.
Scalvini, who has eight senior Italy caps, is a ball-playing centre-half with incredible potential.
The Atalanta academy graduate has had a couple of long-term injuries disrupt his development in the last year, but he’s been in the first-team picture for a few seasons now.
Chelsea are prepared to sign another centre-back despite the fact versatile defender Jorrel Hato is expected to join from Ajax. Therefore, let’s wait and see if Scalvini could be that profile.

Chelsea supporters desperate to sign Giorgio Scalvini
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have given an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the Scalvini transfer rumour. In fact, one fan on X claimed that the Serie A centre-back could make the Premier League title winners next season.
One fan wrote: “Would take Scalvini at Chelsea in a heartbeat…”
“I’d do anything for that Scalvini news to be true, he’s been my dream target for so long,” another posted.
One supporter claimed: “Would be a nice signing.”
“Yes, yes, yes,” another commented.
If Scalvini joins Chelsea, we would predict him to push hard for a spot in the starting XI. He would have a lot of competition at the club, though.
In the second half of last season, Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalobah often rotated to play alongside key man Levi Colwill in the heart of defence. Regardless of the combination, it looked extremely solid for the final couple of months.
Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana is someone who’s easily forgotten because of his injury problems, but he’s a Rolls-Royce defender when he’s fit and firing. Apparently, Fofana is in Maresca’s top three favourite players, so we wouldn’t rule him out of the picture just yet.
