Chelsea fans discuss Tyrique George and Alejandro Garnacho amid big development, ‘100x the player’…
Tyrique George and Alejandro Garnacho have got plenty of Chelsea fans on social media talking.
On Sunday, it emerged that George wants to leave Chelsea after the threat of having his game time reduced next season.
The Blues have already signed Jamie Gittens and are set to make a move for Garnacho later in the transfer window.
Chelsea have made background checks on Garnacho as they prepare to make an offer for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea fans think Alejandro Garnacho is better than Tyrique George
Chelsea signing Garnacho looks like it will push George out of the club. Amid their interest in the United star and RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, who can also play on the left, Fabrizio Romano has revealed on X that George now wants to leave Stamford Bridge.
For some Chelsea fans, though, landing Garnacho at the expense of George would not be the end of the world.
One Chelsea supporter thinks that Garnacho is “100x the player” George is, saying as much on X. “Garnacho is 100× the player George is. What’s wrong with Chelsea fans, man?”
Another Chelsea fan shared a very similar sentiment, saying: “Garnacho is absolutely clear of Tyrique George btw.”
One user on X does not think George is better than any of Chelsea’s potential left-wing options next season. “I love Cobham but George isn’t better than Gittens or Simons or Garnacho.”
Another user posted: “Trust me, we’d be much better off with Gittens and Garnacho/Simons than having him as an option. Will be a mid-table player at best in his prime.”
One Chelsea fan is more than open to the club selling George and bringing in Garnacho. He said: “Another day of Garnacho hate lol. There’s no version of Tyrique George that’s better than him, and this is the perfect time to sell tbh.”
One person thinks it is “delusional” to think George is a better player than Garnacho right now. “Garnacho is clear of Tyrique George. Anyone saying different is delusional.”
Garnacho is a few years older than George and has been playing in the Premier League for much longer. You would expect him to be a superior wide man at this moment in time.
RB Leipzig are interested in George, so the Red Bull Arena is one potential destination for him.
European team no threat to Chelsea in race for Alejandro Garnacho
As well as Chelsea, several other clubs have also been linked with Garnacho, including Besiktas. But the chances of the Turkish side signing him are very slim.
In fact, Romano has stated that there is actually “no chance” of Besiktas landing Garnacho, so they are one outfit who will not cause the Club World Cup winners any problems.
