'Spectacular': Estevao Willian raves about two Chelsea players he's close with
Estevao Willian walked into the Chelsea dressing room this summer surrounded by plenty of young talent.
It has been a strong start for Estevao Willian, 18, at Stamford Bridge during his first season in English football.
Just before the international break, Estevao scored a winning goal against Liverpool to clinch three points in the Premier League in dramatic fashion. The right-winger enjoyed his statement moment after several eye-catching performances to excite supporters.
The teenager has now joined up with Brazil’s senior squad ahead of two friendlies, where he will hope to add to his seven international caps.

Estevao Willian hails Andrey Santos and Joao Pedro
It was a huge plus for Estevao that fellow Brazilians Andrey Santos and Joao Pedro were waiting to greet him at Chelsea.
The youngster has explained that he’s got close with both players. He added that they are both “spectacular” footballers, too.
Estevao told Globo: “Andrey and João are spectacular; they’re not here for nothing. Of course, I’ve been getting closer to them since the beginning. When you arrive, you don’t know what things are like, but you learn. The training intensity is higher here, and that reflects in the game. I’m managing to keep up with the pace.”
Like Estevao, Santos, 21, and Pedro, 24, have looked impressive so far in the 2025-26 season. In particular, Blues forward Pedro has added something a bit extra since arriving from Brighton in the summer.
Even though Santos and Pedro are both absent from Brazil’s squad this month, both are expected to be ready for Chelsea after the international break.

Andrey Santos task to break into Chelsea’s team
While Pedro feels like one of the first names in the Chelsea XI right now, Santos faces a tougher but not impossible task to break into the best line-up.
The South American star is a talented box-to-box midfielder who looks like natural cover for Enzo Fernandez.
Last season, Santos scored 11 goals and created six assists in 38 appearances during his loan spell with Strasbourg. It is that kind of attacking output that could put together the best case for him to be starting more matches.
Chelsea supporters demanded Santos played more earlier this campaign, so don’t be surprised if he breaks into the team at some stage.
