Chelsea’s top five goals of the year as Moises Caicedo stunner just pipped by wonder strike
Chelsea have scored some stunning goals throughout 2025, with some ending up having a massive impact on crucial games for the club.
Enzo Maresca’s side managed 120 goals in all competitions last season, and are already on their way to matching this tally with the 51 they managed before Christmas in the current campaign.
This has been mostly without the presence of Cole Palmer, who has spent the majority of the season on the sidelines due to a groin injury.
His absence and lack of goals in the first half of the year have seen others need to step up, and The Chelsea Chronicle have now ranked the five best strikes of 2025.

Chelsea’s five best goals of 2025
5. Estevao Willian vs Barcelona
What a way to announce yourself to the world as one of the most promising young players in the Champions League.
Estevao Willian was up against Lamine Yamal in a battle of two of the best young talents in football at Stamford Bridge when the Blues hosted Barcelona.
It was the Brazilian who took centre stage though, running through the Catalan defence before smashing a stunning strike with his weak foot with too much heat for the goalkeeper to deal with.

4. Jadon Sancho vs Ipswich Town
Chelsea were staring down the barrel of an embarrassing defeat at Stamford Bridge to an Ipswich Town side who didn’t even have Liam Delap fit enough to start.
An own goal just after half-time got the Blues back into the game, and then a rare Jadon Sancho goal saved a vital point in the last few weeks of the season.
The winger picked the ball up from a short corner before curling an effort into the top corner, notching one of his only five goals for the club.
3. Reece James vs Newcastle United
Another game where Chelsea were in trouble, Maresca’s side found themselves 2-0 down at half-time of the final league game before Christmas.
The Blues needed someone to step up and save them, and this time it was Reece James as his super free-kick dragged them back into the game.
Joao Pedro would level things late on, meaning Chelsea would go into Christmas Day in the top four of the Premier League.

2. Moises Caicedo vs Liverpool
One of the best goals scored in one of Chelsea’s best games of the season, Moises Caicedo’s wondergoal against Liverpool just misses out on top spot.
Arne Slot’s side were still being looked at as serious threats to the Premier League title at this point, however it was a player they were desperate to sign who skipped past Alexis Mac Allister before delivering a sledgehammer into the top corner.
Caicedo’s goal was added to by a late winner from Estevao, sending Stamford Bridge crazy at one of their biggest wins of the campaign.
1: Jamie Gittens vs Wolves
Jamie Gittens‘ only goal since joining Chelsea was the best the Blues scored in 2025, coming in the EFL Cup Round of 16.
Who is Chelsea’s best winger?
The winger had already delivered two assists in clearly his best performance of the season, however the Blues had let their struggling opponents back into the game.
That was until Gittens struck an outrageous half volley from outside the box cannoned in off the post, showing everyone that there is plenty of talent waiting to come out from the winger.
