Getting the most out of Reece James is going to be top on the list for whoever becomes the new Chelsea manager, however Xabi Alonso has the credentials to turn the skipper into one of the best in the league again.

This may not suit James based on his fitness record, however the role of Alejandro Grimaldo in that side is one that could suit the England international perfectly.
The Spaniard’s average position was a lot deeper than Frimpong’s, however the focus for him was creating chances from this role.
