Xabi Alonso speaks out on Joao Pedro, Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella’s future at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has issued a rather cryptic response amid mounting transfer speculation involving Marc Cucurella, Enzo Fernandez and Joao Pedro.

Chelsea are facing a major summer battle to keep hold of their core as heavy transfer speculation circles Stamford Bridge.

Joao Pedro has emerged as a priority target for Barcelona, with the Brazilian forward reportedly keen on a move to Catalonia, though the Chelsea hierarchy insists he is not for sale.

Simultaneously, both Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella are facing highly uncertain futures. Cucurella is drawing concrete interest from Atletico Madrid, while Fernandez has repeatedly flirted with a move to Madrid and is even linked with a Manchester City reunion under Enzo Maresca.

However, Fernandez’s camp are set to open talks over a new deal this summer, so we could see Xabi Alonso’s arrival incentivise all three players to stay.
