'He's very aggressive': Hasselbaink big fan of how one Chelsea player is always 'looking to play forward'
Blues icon Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said as a former striker, he admires progressive midfielders like Chelsea record-signing Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues have arguably made some questionable transfer decisions in the last two windows, but spending a reported €121million (£106.8m) on Fernandez should not be among them.
Since joining Chelsea on the January window deadline day, the 22-year-old has proved irreplaceable under Graham Potter and started in nine consecutive games.
Hasselbaink has clearly been impressed by what he has seen so far from the former Benfica man.

“Enzo is a young player that is very exciting,” the former Netherlands international told Hindustan Times during his visit to Mumbai as a Chelsea ambassador.
“He’s very aggressive and technically very good as well.
“What I like, as an ex-striker, he is always looking to play forward.
“I believe he’s going to be a big player, a big star for Chelsea.”
Well, at this point, Fernandez’s being a progressive midfielder is already a statistical fact — even the best in the Premier League in this area.
In addition to his progressive passes, the Argentina international has also registered two assists for Chelsea so far.
His output could definitely see an improvement if he had played as a number eight with more freedom, but for now, he has done his main role in transition remarkably well.
