Video: What Todd Boehly did to Graham Potter straight after Chelsea’s win over Dortmund last night

A video published by CBS Sports on Twitter has shown Todd Boehly greeting Graham Potter with a beer and an embrace after the game last night.

Chelsea registered a massive 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge against Borussia Dortmund, which was enough to turnaround the first leg deficit from a few weeks’ ago.

Much needed goals for Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz got the impressive Blues over the line at home.

There was pressure everywhere you looked around the hosts last night, however undoubtedly none more so than on the manager.

Potter may have seen his tenure at the club come to an end if his side were defeated by Leeds last weekend, which would have culminated a terrible run of form for the underperforming Blues.

Boehly congratulated Potter

Now though, he was coming out of his shell and showing real passion as another famous Champions League night at Stamford Bridge played out for us.

The owner was in attendance last night for the huge matchup with the Bundesliga leaders, and will no doubt have been one of the people happiest for the manager he has put so much faith in up to now.

This was shown in his post-match antics. He didn’t take long to make his way down the tunnel and embrace Potter with a beer in hand.

After being backed kindly in the January transfer window, many have expected results to kick up in recent weeks. However, until the last two games it had been two wins in 17 games for the Blues.

There will now be a hope that things can remain at the same level for the upcoming games to build momentum for the upcoming quarter-final, with the competition the only part of the season that is maintaining the interest of the fans.
