Report: Arsenal staff are very conscious of the fact that Chelsea want to sign £75m player this summer
Reports have claimed that staff at Arsenal are very cautious about Chelsea’s interest in signing Declan Rice.
According to The Independent, fears that stem back from the Blues ability to capture Mykhailo Mudryk ahead of the Gunners in January, despite plenty of groundwork being done towards capturing him.
Rice has been widely expected for a while now to be on the move, however a poor domestic season for West Ham has suggested it will be this summer he is finally granted that transfer.

Chelsea have been reported long term admirers of the midfielder, with him having plenty of history with the club from his youth career.
However, this summer has seen other clubs emerge as serious contenders to sign the Englishman, and Arsenal are leading that group.
Arsenal fearful of Chelsea’s Rice interest
With financial issues potentially set to plague the Blues this summer, they may have less capabilities to compete for deals at the high end of the market.
Nevertheless, the league leaders are still reportedly fearing the impact Chelsea can have on their summer spend.
A midfielder is probably high on the agenda at Stamford Bridge this, even though the club smashed their transfer record in the recent January window.

They brought in Enzo Fernandez, who has been a constant ray of light in what has been a dire period of time for the West London side.
Frank Lampard has already claimed that the club are in good hands for the future due to the Argentinian international being there, and partnering him with a player like Rice would lock off the position for the coming years.
Other targets for the position have certainly emerged over time. The Blues have been linked to the likes of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo to potentially partner the World Cup winner.
