Frank Lampard hands 19-year-old second ever Chelsea start: Chelsea predicted XI to face Man City

Frank Lampard has a number of injury concerns to deal with as Chelsea prepare to take on Manchester City on Sunday.

A win for their opponents at the Etihad will see them crowned champions of the Premier League following a sensational run of form.

They recently dominated Real Madrid on their way to the Champions League final, as Pep Guardiola closes in on a legendary campaign.

Here is the Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted line-up for Sunday’s game.

After Edouard Mendy did little to impress in his return last week, Kepa Arrizabalaga will return between the sticks.

An impressive display out of position against Nottingham Forest will convince Lampard to start Trevoh Chalobah at right-back again.

Wesley Fofana will start alongside him, as he looks to end the season without another injury concern.

He will be partnered by Benoit Badiashile, who has hardly put a foot wrong since making the move to Chelsea.

Injuries at left-back will see Lewis Hall face City yet again this season. Three of his eight first team appearances have been against the champions-elect.

Injury problems have struck the midfield too, however Enzo Fernandez will continue his streak of starting every game since joining.

Despite reports suggesting he could be on the move this summer, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be required to feature in midfield on Sunday.

They will be joined by Carney Chukwuemeka, who has been kept back from representing his country due to the injuries.

Impressive performances from Noni Madueke in recent weeks will see him certainly start at the weekend.

The opposite side will be occupied by Raheem Sterling, who will look to be back amongst the goals against his former side.

Kai Havertz will feature down the middle, as he looks to lay down a marker to any potential new manager.
