Report: Chelsea already lining up £100m striker signing at Mauricio Pochettino’s request
Reports have claimed that Chelsea are lining up a move to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
According to The Guardian, the Blues are considering making a move for the £100m valued striker at the request of Mauricio Pochettino, who is keen for a striker to be brought in this summer.
A move for Osimhen would almost certainly break the club’s transfer record that they smashed in January with the addition of Enzo Fernandez.
However, the addition of a striker is something the Blues are in desperate need for next season.
The likes of Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling have not been able to find the net on a regular basis this season, although the Englishman did net a brace at the weekend against Nottingham Forest.
Reports have begun to swirl over which players Pochettino wants to both keep and bring in to Stamford Bridge when he takes over for next season.

Osimhen has now cropped up, after a sensational season has seen his side win Serie A.
An official announcement is expected in the coming days for the Argentine to become the permanent manager, after a lengthy recruitment process looks finally set to come to an end.
One of the positions Pochettino has already noted as one that needs addressing is up front, as he looks to form a solid spine for years to come.
Romelu Lukaku is a name that continues to crop up as a potential outside option for the role next season.
The Belgian is currently on loan at Inter Milan, although there has been no indication from the Serie A team that they have the finances to bring him in on a permanent basis.
This could see him forced to return to the Premier League side, whether he likes it or not.
