However, it seems that the Blues are not the only Premier League club who are determined to sign the 23-year-old.
Football Transfers are now reporting that Manchester United are also keen on Vlahovic.
United wanted to sign the 23-year-old in the January transfer window, and they are still determined to bring the youngster to Old Trafford.
According to the report, United manager Erik ten Hag believes that Vlahovic is “a perfect fit for the Premier League given his physical nature”.
The Red Devils are reportedly planning to bid €70 million (£61 million) for the youngster.
No need to panic
In our view, Chelsea should not panic about Manchester United potentially bidding for Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window.
Yes, United are very likely to play in the UEFA Champions League next season and Chelsea have had a really bad campaign.
But, the Blues are used to winning Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.
We have no doubt that Chelsea will be very appealing to Vlahovic.
Moreover, the Blues’ offer is more than what United are reportedly ready to pay.
It is very likely that under incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea will be back challenging for the Premier League top four and potentially the title next season.
