23-year-old Chelsea player left heartbroken over what the Blues have reportedly just done

Trevoh Chalobah has been left emotional after it was confirmed that Mason Mount was prepared to leave Chelsea this summer.

He took to Twitter to state how upset he is that a fellow academy graduate is now going to be playing for another big Premier League side next season.

Yesterday saw reports state that a fee had been agreed between the Blues and Manchester United for the long-awaited move Mount has been looking for.

This follows news that he his relationship with the hierarchy has completely deteriorated, and he was unwilling to sign a new contract.

If he didn’t get his move this summer, it was widely expected that he would hold off until the summer and move for free, putting the club at risk of losing an asset for no money.

However, pending a successful medical, he will now be playing his football at Old Trafford from this August.

Chalobah emotional at Mount leaving

Chalobah has been the only player who has obviously responded to the news that a move is about to happen, taking to Twitter to share his emotion that one of his friends is going to be on the move.

The tweet was met by attempts at social media trolling by the more sensitive corners of the club’s fanbase, although the defender’s classy response quickly shut those down.

There have been reports that the Englishman could also be on the move this summer, with a possible move to play in Serie A on the cards.

However, those rumours have gone quiet recently after the club announced the departure of Kalidou Koulibaly to Saudi Arabia.

While they will have Levi Colwill coming into the side for next season, the quality Chalobah offers in depth may now be considered to stay at the club.
