New Chelsea signing Christopher Nkunku has admitted he is a massive fan of one player who supporters absolutely love.
He claimed in an interview with the club that he is an admirer of Eden Hazard, describing him as a club legend.
Supporters were delighted to see Nkunku announced as the club’s first signing of the summer, in a window that promises to be busy in West London.
Many were already in the knowledge that a deal was likely to be announced early in the window after the medical had been completed months prior.
There will be a nice headache for new manager Mauricio Pochettino in terms of which position he wants to play the France international in next season.
Nkunku admires Hazard
The player himself has recently claimed he finds striker his favourite position, however there may be a belief that the manager was looking to feature him behind the frontman.
Fans will now be hoping that he can make an immediate impression on the English game in a similar way to how Hazard did a decade ago.
Nkunku has now claimed that he is a great admirer of the Belgian.
He said: ‘”I like Eden Hazard for sure. I think, for me, he’s a legend of Chelsea.”
It looks like the former RB Leipzig man is going to be the start of a busy transfer window at Stamford Bridge, with both players coming in and out.
Reports have claimed that the Blues have reached an agreement to sign Nicolas Jackson to play up front. However, it is easy to believe that the club are not done in terms of signing attackers tis summer.
