Mason Mount left upset after Chelsea announcement yesterday
Mason Mount has been left upset after it was officially announced that Kalidou Koulibaly had now left Chelsea on a permanent basis.
The Englishman took to the defender’s Instagram page to wish him well for the future.
Yesterday saw Koulibaly’s departure confirmed, with him now set to become one of the franchise names in the Saudi Arabian league.

It means his Premier League career has already come to an end, with it being fair to say he did not live up to the expectations put upon him.
The Senegal international proved to be far too prone to mistakes, and that is something that will not go unnoticed in England and at a club like Chelsea.
However, the Blues have been able to recoup a decent amount of the fee they paid for him, and will ultimately not feel too bad about the entire situation.

A number of first team players have now taken to social media to say their goodbyes, with Mount’s perhaps being the most shocking.
The 24-year-old is reportedly at odds with the club regarding his future, with him still currently a Chelsea player despite his push to leave this summer.

He has agreed personal terms over a move to Manchester United, although this has not materialised due to a difference in valuation the two sides have put on him.
The Red Devils have seemingly left their final offer on the table for the Blues to consider, however it is unclear how willing Chelsea are to bow to that pressure.
There may be some at the club who are hopeful that a bit of time working under new manager Mauricio Pochettino could perhaps convince him that Stamford Bridge is the best place to be for the coming seasons.
