Report: Chelsea now looking at 154000-a-week aggressive Italian midfielder
Chelsea have now been linked with Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.
According to 90min, Chelsea are interested in signing Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Chelsea are looking at the Italy international midfielder as a potential alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.
While Chelsea remain keen on Caicedo, they are reluctant to pay the £100 million transfer fee that Brighton and Hove Albion want.
So, according to 90min, Inter and Italy international midfielder Barella is among the alternatives the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are reportedly looking at.

In our view, Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella would be a good signing for Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
At the right price.
We do not think that Chelsea should pay something ridiculous, like £80 million or £90 million.
However, if the Blues are able to get a deal done for between £40 million and £50 million, then they should at least consider him if they are able to bring in Caicedo from Brighton in the summer transfer window.
Barella is 26 now and has his best years ahead of him.
The the £154,000-a-week (SalarySport) Italian has been superb for Inter over the years and is a regular for Italy as well.
Barella – who is “aggressive”, “technical” and “can run for ages”, according to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp – is one of the best midfielders around.
