Report: Premier League club make 60m bid for Chelsea player who wants to leave
Reports have claimed that Arsenal have now made a bid worth £60m to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea.
According to the Mail Online, the contract would see the 24-year-old offered a wage of at least £210,000 a week across the capital.
Reports emerged a few weeks ago that the German was of interest to a number of elite sides across Europe, with Real Madrid originally leading the way.

Despite plenty of interest from manager Carlo Ancelotti in a potential deal, the Blues’ demands over the fee that would need to be paid seemingly put the La Liga side off a deal.
This may not be an issue for Arsenal though, who are looking to strengthen their depth after falling short in the race for the Premier League title last season.
Reports over the prior few days have claimed that the Gunners believe they can get the best out of Havertz, who it is fair to say has not been the most consistent performer since his move to the Premier League.
It has now been claimed that Mikel Arteta’s side are now preparing a move that will see the Blues reclaim a lot of the extortionate fee they paid for the attacker.

Defenders of the player will point to the fact that he is very rarely used in a position where he feels he is strongest, with a number 10 role not always available in the system played at Stamford Bridge.
With the direction the Blues are looking to head under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, it is likely that opportunities would still be at a premium for a player looking to enter the prime years of his career.
With the upcoming addition of Christopher Nkunku, it is perhaps understandable why Havertz has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave this summer.
